Dr. Ochoa was born and raised right here in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is a W. B. Ray HS graduate. She later went on to pursue a bachelors degree in biomedical sciences from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi. Some of you may recognize her as she previously worked as a technician for Dr. Hughes at Corpus Christi Animal Clinic for many years, and she was part of the team during the transition to Doddridge. 

Dr. Ochoa received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University located on the island of St Kitts in the Caribbean. During this time she was able to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the island when she wasn’t living in the library studying. She completed her clinical year (4th year) of vet school at the University of Illinois. 

She returned to Corpus Christi to be closer to her family after the Covid-19 pandemic. She currently has a 13 year old Labrador mix named Landon who spends his old man days sleeping and rolling around in the yard.
